Our Services

Areas of Service

With a wide range of professional services that suit your every need and requirement, I have the know-how and expertise to help you and your horse.

Equine Therapy

What is equine therapy / body work?

Equine massage is the practice of massage on horses. Used for both day to day riding and post trauma rehabilitation. Do not get confused with a relaxing spa day with equine therapist. We use hands, fingers, elbows, electromagnetic blankets, soft laser, shockwave, acupressure, myofascial release and joint mobilization to relieve tight muscle, tendon, ligaments, joints, scar tissue, oedema, increasing blood flow and lymphatic drainage in horses.

Positive effect includes improvement of movement, reduction of pain, stress response and faster healing time as well as making sure that the healing process is correct. Research demonstrates that body work may reduce somatic pain and consequently reduce lameness and, in some cases, even aggression. Frequency depends on each individual case.

Stabling

We have 7 beautiful stables available to clients. The stables boast sliding doors with raised water buckets (so no more water spillage), in a relaxed drama free environment.

One body work session free per month. Dressage arena with jumping equipment included for the jumpers. A five ha track to use for your convenience. Own trainer, farrier, dentist, or therapist welcome. Safe outride space with lots of nature. Big individual or group paddock available with a beautiful dam to enjoy nature. Concentrates of your choice, up to 4kg per day, ad libb erogrostis in stable and paddock. Epsom salts and tick control included.

Last but not least a clubhouse to relax or do a quick email.

Lessons & Training

Lessons are both private and individual so that we can give our attention to each rider separately. I have found that the children thrive in individual lessons. We cater for beginner to advanced riders in all ages. Although my love is for dressage, we also give jumping lessons. You can either ride one of our horses or your own. Lessons are not always just about riding but also caring and keeping the horse happy in its environment. It’s learning to be confident and have body awareness in the rider.

Training of horses include, backing of young horses in a non-threatening and happy environment. I can attest that no horse was backed that ever bucked, reared or ran in our backing process. Although we do not claim to be natural horsemen, we do use the horse’s natural instinct and love in such process. Re-training of bad habits or behaviour issues.

We go back to basics and establish a sound foundation for the horse, with patience and love. We root out the core problem and create a solution with the horse and rider. Training the competition horse, we create a confident horse that knows what is expected of them, with mental capabilities to aim at perfection.
